Lucas López López hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Klavier und Gesang am Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo absolviert. Derzeit setzt er sein Gesangsstudium an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (Schweiz) unter der Leitung des Tenors Werner Güra fort.
Er wurde beim 8. Solistenwettbewerb des CSMVigo mit dem ersten Preis ausgezeichnet. Außerdem gewann er die 24. und 25. Ausgabe des Mirna-Lacambra-Wettbewerbs und gab sein Debüt in der der Òpera a Catalunya. Kürzlich erhielt er den Andrés-Gaos-Preis beim 6. Compostela-Lírica-Gesangswettbewerb und mehrere Auszeichnungen beim 16. Concours International de la Mélodie de Gordes. Er war Mitglied der Ton Koopman Academy in Den Haag (Niederlande) und der Bachcelona Academy. Er trat in Konzertreihen wie dem Internationalen M.K. Ciurlionis Festival in Palanga (Litauen), „Música para una época” im Museo de Belas Artes in A Coruña und „Novas voces galegas” von Amigos de la Ópera de A Coruña auf.
Er übernahm Hauptrollen in Produktionen wie Die Zauberflöte, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Das Telefon, Il segreto di Susanna, Dido und Aeneas und Das verzauberte Schweinchen.
Als Pianist hat er mehrere Auszeichnungen erhalten, darunter eine lobende Erwähnung bei der 5. Mostra Musical Eixo Atlántico (2016), den zweiten Preis beim Klavierwettbewerb der Sociedad Artística Ferrolana (2017) und den zweiten Preis beim 19. Internationalen Wettbewerb-Festival „Music without Limits” in Druskininkai, Litauen (2019). Im Bereich der Kammermusik wurde er bei mehreren Ausgaben des Kammermusikwettbewerbs CSMVigo ausgezeichnet.

Lucas López López holds BA degrees in piano and voice from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo. He is currently continuing his vocal studies at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste(Switzerland) under the guidance of tenor Werner Güra.
He was awarded first prize in the 8th Soloists’ Competition at CSMVigo. He also won both the 24thand 25th editions of the Mirna Lacambra Competition, making his debut in the Òpera a Catalunyaseason. More recently, he received the Andrés Gaos Prize at the 6th Compostela Lírica SingingCompetition, as well as several awards at the 16th Concours International de la Mélodie de Gordes.He has been a member of the Ton Koopman Academy in The Hague (Netherlands), as well as theBachcelona Akademie. He has performed in concert series such as the International M.K. CiurlionisFestival in Palanga (Lithuania), “Música para una época” at the Museo de Belas Artes in A Coruña,and “Novas voces galegas” by Amigos de la Ópera de A Coruña.
He has taken on leading roles inproductions such as Die Zauberflöte, Il barbiere di Siviglia, The Telephone, Il segreto di Susanna,Dido and Aeneas, and The enchanted pig, among others.
As a pianist, he has received several distinctions, including an Honorable Mention at the 5th Mostra Musical Eixo Atlántico (2016), second prize at the Piano Competition of the Sociedad Artística Ferrolana (2017), and second prize at the 19th International Competition-Festival “Music without Limits” in Druskininkai, Lithuania (2019). In the field of chamber music, he has been awarded inseveral editions of the CSMVigo Chamber Music Competition.
